A longer torso and elastic waist offer flexibility in fit and styling: wear the waist lower on your hips, set the waist over the bodice for a tucked-in high-waisted look, or roll the waist under the bodice for a high-rise and puff-top combo.
The flared cut of the shorts almost gives a skort-like appearance, creating a little flow to the ensemble.
